Ferrari J50 Limited Edition

Ferrari has unveiled J50 during a special celebration held at the National Art Center in Tokyo to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ferrari in Japan. The limited edition two-seater roadster marks the return of the targa body style, evocative of several well-loved Ferrari road cars of the 1970s and 1980s. Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre team in Maranello, just 10 of the J50 will be built and, in the spirit of Ferrari's fuori serie tradition, each one will be tailored specifically to the customer's requirements. While the "helmet visor" effect, which spawns from the window graphic, is reminiscent of Ferrari's open competition barchettas going as far back as the 1950s, the black dividing line is a novel interpretation of a recurring Ferrari styling cue seen on iconic models such as the GTO, F40 and F50. More power, new tech for the big bad bull. Lamborghini has released its riposte to the fastest cars in the world, refining its Aventador supercar for 2017. Named Aventador S, the model features additional technology, a boost in power and more dramatic - and effective - styling intended to keep the model on top of its game. The most obvious change surrounds its radically reprofiled front end, which takes inspiration from the brand's ultra - rare Centenario special, producing 130 per cent more downforce than its predecessor. Similar changes at the rear elicit an additional 50 per cent in downforce at speed while reducing drag  by 400 per cent. The Italian brand has followed the likes of Porsche and Ferrari by introducing four-wheel-steering on its flagship model in an effort to improve agility at lower speeds and stability on the interesting side of 200km/h.
