Mercedes plans to raise the roof at the Frankfurt Motor show this year with the drop-top, super-hot S-Class Cabriolet. The german luxury automaker impressed everybody last year with their all-new S-Class limousine, and then they really got our frankfurters roasting when they revealed the S-Class coupe. Now they even managed to get the looker to take its top off for you. This will be the first Mercedes-Benz drop-top four seater S-Class in the lineup since way back in 1971 - just don’t expect it to be as roomy back there as the car’s four-door cousin. The roof will raise or drop in just about 20 seconds at speeds up to 38 mph, and rolls into the trunk where an automatic divider activates to keep everything organized back there.  Beyond an extra set of seats and a disappearing act for a roof, you get a load of fancy features like neckwarmers for those chilly mornings, automatic climate control that will automatically adjust between top-down and top-up, and an array of 12 sens

While many believed the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo to be the penultimate update for the current R35 generation, Nissan is determined to further develop Godzilla until a new generation arrives. Nissan’s Chief Creative Officer, Shiro Nakamura, used the past weekend’s Le Mans race to talk about the company’s flagship. While confirming the 2016 update will arrive shortly, Nakamura made it clear the next-generation model is “more than two years away”. German Porsche tuner 9ff has revealed their new 9ff GTurbo 1200 based on a Porsche 911 (997) GT3 which has 1,200hp and 1,150Nm of torque making it one of the most powerful Porsches in the world. It only needs 3.3 seconds from naught to 100km/h and goes all way up to a top speed of 403km/h. And it is street legal. It is powered by a 3.8 liter flat-six engine whose displacement has been increased to 3.9 liters. 9ff added a Garrett GT1200R turbocharger with ball bearings and water-cooling. A three-stage boost control is operated via buttons on the steering wheel, selecting from 0.8 bar, 1.2 bar and 1.6 bar hence adjusting the power output from 600 horsepower to a maximum 1200 horsepower.     The GTurbo 1200 uses a 997 GT3 six-speed manual with reinforced gears and strengthened 9ff slip differential.
