The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE just arrived to destroy everything

If you thought the   2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1   was a monster, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Since its launch in 2012, the   Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has developed a reputation for being the muscle car of the Camaro lineup. The debut of the   2017 Camaro ZL1   helped change that perception with its more track-capable performance, and now the surprise reveal of the ZL1 1LE turns the idea that the model is only good for burnouts completely on its head. The 2018 ZL1 1LE is technically an options package for the ZL1 coupe, but it turns the thing into a complete track beast. And on first glance, it definitely looks the part. How is that achieved? The 1LE uses the same 650-hp, 650-lb-ft supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V-8 as the standard ZL1, so all of the upgrades happen outside of the engine bay. The 1LE replaces the stock 285-width tires with 305s in the front and 325s in the rear. The tires are Goodyear’s new Eagle F1 Supercar 3R, the company’s first cup tire design. Th

The new Pagani Huayra Roadster

Limited edition, 760bhp €2.28m convertible supercar revealed. And it’s sold out Pagani claims 1.8G, the highest lateral acceleration “ever seen on a car with road tyres”. Better strap in then, ladies and gentlemen: doff your caps to the new Pagani Huayra Roadster. Actually, maybe just remove your caps entirely. Using lessons learned from the mad Pagani Huayra BC, the new Huayra Roadster gets Mercedes-AMG’s ‘M158’ V12 (it’s a unit specially built for Pagani), with a pair of turbos bolted on, producing 760bhp, and more than 737lb ft of torque. Which, packed into Pagani’s carbo-titanium monocoque and allied to a seven speed X-Trac gearbox, means you can experience 1.8G of lateral acceleration and 760bhp to the fullest. Though no 0-62mph time has been given, expect it to hover at around three seconds. The car comes with two roofs: a removable carbonfibre hard top comes with a central glass element, allowing you to get the looks of a coupe, and the freedom of

2019 Porsche 911 Coupe and Convertible Spied!

The 992-generation Porsche 911 is still a few years away, but testing has already begun. What It Is:   The next-generation   Porsche 911 internally called 992. While it retains the trademark rear-engine layout, it represents a major step forward, comparable to the switch from the 997 to the all-new 991 in late 2011. As ever, the styling of the 911 is treated in an evolutionary manner, and for the casual observer, it will be difficult to tell it apart from the current model—particularly given the camouflage on these test mules. The brand’s many fans, however, will find it easy to spot the slightly altered proportions, the new head- and taillights, the wide rear spoiler, and the wider track. Why It Matters:   Because it’s the 911. The model is the quintessential German sports car and one of the longest-running and most successful vehicles ever. In the late 1970s, Porsche planned to kill the 911 in favor of the 924 and 928, two models that have long since exited the autobahn—p

2017 MAZDA MX-5 MIATA SOFT TOP ARRIVES

Like this Article? Share it ! The answer, as another website once said, is always Miata. And who am I to disagree with that? There are few things a gearhead can ask of a car that a Miata, from any of the now four generations, cannot do. Look, I’ll get my prejudices out of the way right here at the top: I love these cars. Miatas are, all things taken into account, one of the best cars a car enthusiasts can own. I’m on my second one at the moment, a 1994 R-Package that I acquired from a friend that won ProSolo Nationals with the thing. Twice. Automotive Origins Yes, I grew up in a British sports car family. Yes, that has colored my opinion of what is “acceptable” in a car and what is not. I often say a Miata is the best British car I’ve ever owned, and I’m only half joking. They, and I mean all four generations of them, turn in like Emma Peel’s Élan and are forgiving like my brother’s TR4A (poor guy owned three of them in high school and college). They go, turn, and st
